In February 2025, the National Collaborative came together in Ottawa and online, bringing together members of the Steering Committee and Working Group Co-chairs. Over 35 organizations were present at the meeting, with a goal of continuing to expand representation within the Collaborative. The meeting focused on the importance of the link between collaboration between organizations and how we can support one another in the work that we are doing in the well-being space, in addition to breaking down barriers and finding commonalities between professions on how we can address issues.
Organizations shared the work that they are leading in the well-being space, how we can amplify or avoid duplication, identifying who is missing within the Collaborative and different parts of the project and a discussion on how Canada’s Health Workforce Well-being Plan can help bring it all together.
Lastly, there was a preliminary discussion focused on the importance of measurement and how the Professional Fulfilment Index will be used, disseminated and supported by the Collaborative members. The importance of strategic measurement (where necessary and amongst groups that want to better understand well-being) and how to move forward was part of the key discussion points.
